Enjoy the Beach at Kilchattan Bay

The red sands of Kilchattan Bay provide the perfect place to take a walk and in fine weather to enjoy the beach. The bay has shallow waters and expansive tidal flats at low tide.

You will see a variety of sea birds and occasionally you will spot a seal. You’ll often see ships passing by and in the summer plenty of small leisure craft offshore or seeking shelter and anchor in Kilchattan Bay.
